Description Carsten Luedtke 2008-08-05 11:40:39 UTC
Please describe the problem:
By accident I cut and pasted (instead of copy and paste) some files i wanted to backup on DVD into the burn:\\\ window. N-C-B made then references to the original files, while the original files were deleted in the same step. After trying to burn, it gave me some error it couldn't read the files anymore and my hair turned to grey.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Take some files you are sure you want to loose.
2. Cut + Paste them into the N-C-B window.
3. Press burn

Actual results:
I loose my data.

Expected results:
Either a warning for "Dude you will loose your files if you start over" or which would be better, an temporary folder where these files are moved so they aren't lost maybe somewhere in ~/.cache/ and some info in the manual for the exact behaviour.

Does this happen every time?
Yes :(

Other information:
I'm on Debian Sid if this is important.
