Description Vance 2008-08-04 00:38:42 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Pan is running. I finish my session. I click on the little "x" in the upper right corner to shut pan down. Pan freezes.Shortly, a pop up comes up and says pan has stopped responding and asks me if I would like to force a quit. I click "force quit" and pan shuts down.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click the little "x" in the upper right corner
2.
3.

Actual results:
Pan freezes and stops responding

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
I am running Ubuntu 8.04 64bit version, Gnome desktop.

I have also encountered this problem.
Using version 0.129 Pan had been exiting
normally but a few days ago it stopped doing
so, and I noticed that "Mute Quoted Text"
was sometimes selected without me selecting it.
Note that I was subscribed to comp.lang.ada
and comp.lang.javascript.
This indicates that the problem is data
dependant, and perhaps a buffer overflow.

I downloaded version 0.133, built and ran it - with
the same result.

Note that I am running Ubuntu 7.10 with the latest updates
and Gnome desktop.
