GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 545317
Mail filters don't work anymore
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:59:22 UTC
I've just upgraded e-d-s and evolution, the migration to sqlite seemed to finish correctly, but now the incoming mail is not filtered anymore. Applying filters by hand didn't work either. I can still see the list of filters in Edit -> Filters. I've also noticed that evo is much slower now and it's using the disk most of the time.
Thanks Carlos, we are improving every day. I will fix it asap.
It's working again now. I don't know what I've changed, though. Among other things I disabled the search folders since I didn't use them (I only had the default folders 'important', not read, etc.) and it seemed to be the cause (or one of them) of the disk usage. I don't know whether it has something to do. If you need more information from me, just let me know.
Vfolders are getting new shape... so please be patient. We are working out a vfolders out of db than to read all to mem.
I think I found the issue of filters not working.. specially of visible filtered junk mails. Actually filtering happens and when the message list is regenerated, it generates from the disk, but that time, the filtering changs might not have been synced to DB, so DB data is stale by a few seconds. If I press, F5 or refresh folder again, I see those mails missing.
It works. I have fixed code for saving summary after filtering. try in 2.23.90.
