GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 544394
motion treshold slider position misleading
Last modified: 2008-07-23 17:51:38 UTC
Hello, The Accessibility tab of the Mouse control panel contains a Motion Treshold slider under the Dwell Click section. Thus the user is induced to think that the Motion Treshold slider only works for the Dwell Click. However, this is not completely correct: the Motion Treshold slider also works for the Simulated Secondary Click, even when the Dwell Click is disabled. Moreover, there is another point: the Motion Treshold is not generally effective; it only works in combination to the Simulated Secondary Click and in combination to the Dwell Click. Could anybody, maybe some gui designer, give suggestions for a design of the Accessibility tab that takes into account the facts of the Motion Treshold slider? I was not able to come up with a convincing design yet. Thanks in advance.
