GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 544374
No Ability to Use Mixed Fonts in Outgoing Messages
Last modified: 2009-01-15 18:31:53 UTC
In HTML messages, there is no way to send a message with mixed formatting of the font face. For example, I would like one section of the message to be in Arial font, and another in Times New Roman. It cannot be done in the current version.
There is no way of changing the default outbound font, much less mixed formatting in the current version. Please add an outbound font-face selection.

Yes, more HTML composer options in general would be greatly appreciated.
You should probably put your comment over at bug 320066. As I recall, this isn't planned to be fixed.
