Description Patrick Wade 2008-07-10 22:33:24 UTC
(using sun internal build 94 on solaris sparc):
(The resolution of the screen was 1920 x 1200)

1. Configure standard GDM login for a11y (GOK direct selection)
2. Use a mouse/switch gesture to launch GOK at the login screen
3. Type in your login ID using GOK's "Compose" keyboard

Expected result:

Placing the pointer over each letter in the "Compose" keyboard
should mean that it gets highlighted as an orange colour. Clicking
on the letter should enter the character into the GDM login text field.

Actual result:

Placing the pointer over each letter means that a *DIFFERENT* incorrect
letter gets highlighted. For example, placing the pointer over the letter
'F' seems to make the 'R' letter (which happens to be above it) turn
orange instead. Another example is placing the pointer over 'G', which
makes the 'T' letter become highlighted in orange.

The incorrect offset seems to only affect the Y-position (i.e. the
vertical position of the pointer on-screen). This incorrect 'offset'
happens all over the GOK keyboard. The offset seems to get better or
worse depending on the Y-position of the pointer on the display.

(For the record, the display in use was 1920 x 1200.)
