Press the up and down arrow keys to highlight launch menu items Expected result: The launch menu should be spoken. The launch menu items should be spoken as they are highlighted. Actual result: No speech on these items.
What does "gnome-about --version" give you? Is it possible this is a side-effect/dup of bug #540537? If not, are you sure accessibility was enabled for the desktop session and that the at-spi registry daemon is running?
Hi Will - gnome-about is 2.23.4. This bug does not seem to correspond to what 540537 says. Yes and yes to your last questions.
Joanie did some testing with this. She's able to reproduce the issue, and she can make it go away by reverting to revision 3460 of libbonobo. Closing this as a duplicate. Thanks for testing/reporting everyone! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 540537 ***
