Description Pedro Manuel Náñez Moreira 2008-07-04 10:57:59 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When you stretch an icon in Gnome Desktop, and then you drag it into another folder, the icon in this folder keep the size from Desktop; but you can recover original size in the folder.
If you move the icon to Desktop again, you can resize it and recover original size.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Take a screenshot and save it on the Desktop
2. Resize it with "sctretch icon". -or something, in spanish translation is "Estirar icono" -
3. Create a new folder in Desktop
4. Drag the resized screenshot to new folder
5. Open the folder... Icon's size isn't the right size in folders.

Actual results:
Moved icons' size isn't the original size.

Expected results:
In folder, icons' size may be the original size.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Sorry about my bad english.

I can confirm the bug on my system (Ubuntu 8.04).
Plus: You cannot restore the icons size manually after you moved it away from the desktop. You have to move it back to the desktop, restore the original size and move it again.

Paket: nautilus
Version: 1:2.22.3-0ubuntu2

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

Most action in the other bug, therefor closing this bug instead of the usual (keeping oldest bug).
