Description Pedro Villavicencio 2008-07-03 18:43:28 UTC
this bug has been filed here:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/219351

"However, 'gv' does do it successfully but it takes a lot of time to load all the images. The images were imported into inkscape from the open clip art library. I then embedded all the images into the vector graphics file. Next, I exported this as an eps file.

When I open the eps file in evince, it displays black lines and parts of images. Only very few of them are correctly displayed."

It works for me. Which ps backend are you using gs or libspectre? Could you provide a screenshot showing the problem?

Thanks.

I'm using the gs backend, Yes I've attached a couple of screenshot showing the differences, thanks Carlos.

The gs backend has been removed in 2.23.x versions, so it will be fixed as soon as you upgrade your evince.

Thanks for reporting.
