Description SteveLee 2008-07-02 07:15:11 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The attached SVG file causes the desktop to pretty much hang when previewed in the file open dialog. The disk thrashes and system gets sluggish with apps going grey and not responding

The same when opened in eye of gnome so I'm guessing a librsvg problem. Howevever It is ok on the desktop and in thumbnails in directory listings.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Use file open (in Firefox) and select the file or try to view the file in eye of gnome
2.
3.

Actual results:
systems grinds to a halt for a very long time

Expected results:
preview shown immediately

Does this happen every time?
yes

I think product should have been librsvg and not nautilus but I can't change it
Sorry.

-> librsvg

I can definitely confirm the bug with librsvg 2.22.2 and Cairo 1.6.4 here, reassigning.
