Evolution 2.22.2 on Ubuntu 8.04, fully patched.

This is an intermittant error, but frequent enough to warrant a bug report.

Messages shown in preview pane are not the messages selected in the message listing pane.  When in this state, double-clicking the messages in the listing pane displays what the preview pane does - the wrong message.

This bug manifested itself today after POPing mail for my 6 various email accounts.  

Sometimes I can get this corrected by copying all inbox messages to an alternate folder and then copying them all back into the inbox.  

I keep my inbox fairly clean.  Today it happened when I had less than a dozen emails in my inbox and had 10 new show up in my inbox, and another half-dozen or so handled by a few message rules that ended up in other folders.

This appears to be a race condition where a pointer gets mis-pointed, but that's just a guess by reading between the lines.

Are there any specific things I can do to assist?  I'm quite comfortable working at the shell-prompt and programming in *nix, but am limited in time at present.
