Description Andreas Kloeckner 2008-06-27 21:09:57 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The fancy graphs on the resources tab consume 100% CPU on my system (with Compiz and Intel i910). That doesn't make for a particularly useful CPU usage monitor.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open system monitor, click resources tab.

Actual results:
2. Watch CPU usage shoot up to 100%

Expected results:
2. system monitor has almost no impact on CPU usage

Does this happen every time?
yes
