This is unfortunately an application problem causing the AT-SPI infrastructure to hang. In particular see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=447435#c9 of bug #447435. As such, this problem is going to unfortunately occur on an app-by-app basis, and we have no control over it.

Please file bugs with the offending applications. :-(

Are people still experiencing this problem? If so, which specific apps are exhibiting the problem?
Comment 3 Halim Sahin 2009-08-27 12:26:23 UTC
Yes Will I can reproduce the problem with latest ubutnu karmic.
The used application is the networkmanager applet.
Adding an wireless connection brings up two inaccessible windows.
1. The default-keyring creation
2. The unlock keyring window.

The AT-SPI2 blockage that caused hangs in the past was eliminated in AT-SPI2 during the GNOME 3.4 cycle.
