Description Eric 2008-06-20 00:24:58 UTC
Please describe the problem:
There is no way to select the color depth when connecting a remote server. I can't select 8 bits per pixel, so connections are very slow.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Connect to a server over a slow link.
2. Observe that the session is sluggish.
3. Observe that reducing color depth is not an option.

Actual results:
The session is sluggish.

Expected results:
Ideally, vinagre should pick the best color depth on its own. However, I should be given the option to pick the color depth manually.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
