Description Guy Taylor 2008-06-12 12:31:20 UTC
Add support for making an mp3 CD from a collection of audio files in a different format, such as FLAC or Vorbis. At current this involves converting the required files using a second application then using the "data project" option.

Is this feature -- of transcoding files between audio formats likely to happen any time soon, if at all? It's not lost on me that this RFE was filed 2 years ago and there has not been a word said on it since.

Yes, I am interested and I honestly thought I would be able to implement it earlier but even now the move toward GNOME 3 makes time sparse.

Now of course I can give directions if you are interested in doing it or I can review any patch.
