Description jeremy 2008-06-12 09:59:54 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When using Banshee to update my 3rd generation ipod nano, it damages the database so the ipod doesn't think it has any music.

Banshee can still read the database when I remount the ipod.

I can successfully update the ipod with gtkpod and rhythmbox.

Reverting iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesDB from iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesDB.bak restored the ipod's view of its songs.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Transfer something to ipod with banshee
2. Eject ipod
3. Fail to see anything on ipod

Actual results:
The ipod reports it has no songs.

Expected results:
All songs (original and new) to be visible in ipod

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
