Description Olav Vitters 2008-06-08 20:47:23 UTC
If you are viewing a directory in the list view, there is some space reserved to expand directories within that window (shows an arrow for directories, otherwise some empty space).

If you double click in that space to launch some file, Nautilus actually starts the file twice. It only starts it once if you double click on the icon or filename.

I saw this in various versions, but never was able to reproduce it (thought it was my mistake and perhaps due to triple clicking). I love that I can reproduce it! :-)

I believe this is fixed with the commit from bug 448562.
Could you try again with the patch from that commit?

Heh, after I killed nautilus (to have it run 2.22.3), all is well. Still happy that I finally found what caused this though :)
