Please describe the problem:
with 1.0.0 no notifications are being shown.

with 0.99.3 everything worked fine.

Steps to reproduce:
1. start banshee
2. add minimum 2 items to a playlist
3. play

Actual results:
no notification about "now playing" is being shown.

Expected results:
I would like to see libnotify popups back
