Description ckuklewicz 2001-04-26 03:51:05 UTC
Package: gnome-core
Severity: normal
Version: 1
Synopsis: "menu" Panel fails to save launchers
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core
Bugzilla-Component: panel

Description:
I just upgraded to Ximian Gnome 1.4 and allowed it to replace my
old settings with the new defaults.

Previously my menu bar panel had launchers for gnome-terminals that
would use --command 'su username' to setup various users.

After adding them back to 1.4 and logging out, they were not there
when I returned, but all the other applets were.

I tried this two times.

Note that there are still, by default, the two launchers for mozilla and a plain
gnome-terminal on the menu panel. The new gweater applet stayed on
the menu panel after stopping and starting X.
