GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 536406
Calendar window is not repositioned after automatically expanding
Last modified: 2009-07-05 08:12:19 UTC
Please describe the problem: When the clock applet's calendar window is forced to expand horizontally (when an extra button needs be be added), it needs to be repositioned slightly to the left otherwise parts of it will be drawn off screen. Steps to reproduce: 1. setup 2 different timezones far apart so that the time is on different calendar days (e.g. UTC and UTC+12) 2. click on the clock applet to reveal the calendar 3. hover the mouse down to the second timezone so that the "Modify" time button appears beside the time and date. Actual results: the window is resized and part of it falls offscreen Expected results: the window should be resized (to increase its width) but it should expand to the left as opposed to the right Does this happen every time? yes Other information: I will be attached two screenshots which demonstrate this problem.
