GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 536253
Show notification for all user-jobs that finish while Banshee isn't shown
Last modified: 2020-03-17 08:16:20 UTC
I think it's be pretty cool/useful if Banshee showed a notification when user-jobs (all? maybe just some subset/class of them) finished and Banshee isn't visible/focused. So you'd know when your podcasts finished downloading, or your device was synced, or files imported, etc.
I still think this would be a great thing. :) Could also pop up to let you know that auto-rip didn't happen due to not finding metadata.
Nice idea.
Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
