Description Michael R Head 2008-05-31 15:20:11 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Now that the Google calendar plugin works (in 2.22.1.1-0ubuntu2), I've found a smaller bug.

Here's my problem:

I have my google calendar connected both with an "On the Web" calendar and a "Google" calendar in Evo.

I have repeating events in my online google calendar.

When I use the "On the web" calendar, all events show up properly as expected.

When I use the "Google" calendar, I only see the first event in the repeating series.

I believe there's a "Duration:" field in the XML which indicates how frequently to repeat the event that is being ignored by evo. I think it also makes mistakes with respect to the "Except on:" field.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Load a google calendar using the google calendar plugin (new calendar/type Google)
2. Log in to the google calendar web site and add an event with a (say, weekly) recurrence.
3. Note that only the first event of the sequence shows up in evo's calendar display.
4. Note that the same calendar, when loaded via the "On the Web" calendar shows all events properly when using the webcal URL for the same google calendar.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
I just retested this with 2.22.2 (in 2.22.2-0ubuntu1)and am still seeing it.

I reported this downstream in Launchpad: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/232295

It still lacks good recurrence support.
