Description techtonik 2008-05-30 09:16:25 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Win2000, Wacom Intuos3

Pen is recognized, cursor is displayed correctly (differrent from mouse), but there are no traces on the surface when pen is pressed.

Device status window shows two identical pointers.
Input devices lists Wacom Puck alone and settings are not changeable. X is set to 1 and Y is set to 2.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Load GIMP
2. Get tablet pen into your hand
3. Try to draw

Actual results:
No line is drawn on a surface.

Expected results:
Some smudges.

Does this happen every time?
Yep.

Tablets are handled by GTK+.
Comment 2 techtonik 2008-06-02 06:26:41 UTC
Seems like duplicate. Two more instruments appeared in GIMP after program restart, subsequent starts detected tablet properly. After system restart the problem reproduced.
