Description Jeff B 2008-05-23 03:54:49 UTC
Please describe the problem:
On Windows v. 2.2.5 (built from r17141 on 2008-04-27), the calendar widget in the "Duplicate Transaction" window ("New Transaction Information" subtitle) has very limited functionality. The mouse doesn't work at all, and the best I could do with the keyboard was increase/decrease month, and select between first day of the month, mid month, or last day (no "daily" granularity)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a transaction.
2. Select it, and click the "Duplicate" toolbar button.
3. Click the "down arrow" button next to the "Date:" textbox to bring up the calendar widget
4. Try to use any of its functionality via the mouse.
5. Also, try to figure out a way to select individual days via keyboard.

Actual results:
Nothing, until the calendar widget is closed.

Expected results:
A mouse should be able to be used to select a specific date.

Does this happen every time?
yes.

Other information:
May be Windows-only - I haven't tried a linux version.

Very valuable information, thanks a lot!
Anyway, I highly suspect this being a duplicate of bug 520570. Please look at that---it also includes a work-around.

Damn - I searched on "calendar" and didn't see anything. Sorry 'bout that. Thanks for the workaround!
