Description tbarrie 2008-05-23 02:39:57 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I click on the "Always carbon-copy (cc) to:" or "Always blind carbon-copy (bcc) to:" checkboxes in the "Defaults" tab of the account editor dialogue, Evolution doesn't seem to actually include the requested header in outgoing messages.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Check the "Always carbon-copy (cc) to:" box and enter an e-mail address
2. Start composing a message and examine the cc: field
3. Send the message, check the headers of the sent message, and check the mailbox specified in step 1.

Actual results:
Evolution fails to cc: the message to the desired address.

Expected results:
Evolution should cc: the message as requested, and ideally should display the desired address in the cc: field while composing.

Does this happen every time?
Yes, although I remember this feature working properly before; the problem may have started when I upgraded to Ubuntu 8.4.

Other information:
I'm not sure what specific settings might be relevant, but I have only a single account set up; it's an IMAP account where both incoming and outgoing messages are encrypted and require password authentication. Let me know if you need any other information.
