When you add http://www.genengnews.com/media/files/news_feed.xml and leave "validate feed" checked, evolution segfaults some time after clicking "OK" and after restarting evolution the feed is not added.
If you uncheck this, the feed gets added and the crash first happens when fetching the feed automatically or through "send/recieve".

I cannot reproduce this. Feeds get added nice. Browsing through articles I see some do not have description (body).
I feel this is a duplicate of :

I suppose you are using evolution-rss (0.0.8-0ubuntu1) hardy
I do not understand why this patch wasn't merged in ubuntu.

Yes, I was using that Ubuntu package. After building a package with the patch the feed works now.
