Description Thomas B Homburg 2008-05-06 12:35:02 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Vinagre creates a situation

Steps to reproduce:
1. connect to server
2. go to fullscreen
3. change the active desktop on the client
4. move the mouse cursor through the right side of the screen.

Actual results:
4. The entire screen slides to the left. It does not slide back, when i move the mouse to the left.

Expected results:
The client screen should not move

Does this happen every time?
No.

Other information:
It seems to happen under other circumstances as well.

The screen can get back to center, by changing back to the active desktop with the vinagre client and moving the mouse through the left side of the screen.

Both computers are using compiz effects

Hi. I'm not sure I understand you...

How can you go from step 2 to 3? Once you're in fullscreen mode?

From http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=465606

"Vinagre provides Ctrl+Alt as an option to grab the cursor of guest
machine. However, vinagre automatically grab guest's cursor by
default. The only difference between grab and not grab is while in
grab mode, the host's cursor becomes invisible."

From http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=482564

"When the remote screen is larger than the vinagre window, there are
scrollbars. Now, when I use the mouse scroll wheel, vinagre scrolls its
view as well as passes the events through to the remote application.
(I'd prefer to only pass the events to the remote application.)"
