Description Ted Bullock 2008-05-02 16:20:42 UTC
There needs to be a way to step into collapsed mail threads, especially when opening up a message in it's own window

Comment 1 David Ayers 2010-12-19 19:00:38 UTC
When selecting the threaded view, evolutions main window respects the threaded ordering when using the next/prev mail buttons. Yet when the mail is opened in a separate window the threaded grouping is ignored. I expect the threading to be respected here also.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:08:32 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
