GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 531051
Evolution Mail and Calendar: This bug was found when ...
Last modified: 2008-05-10 00:16:49 UTC
This bug was found when I created an Appointment for 06 May 2008, which is a Tuesday. I set it to start at 08:40PM and end 1 hrs 20 mins later. After that I clicked on Save. Then I decided to change the end time, this time it shows 10:00 PM as the end time. So I edited it to be at 10:20 PM. This is when I noticed that when I tried to change to a different date, the day shows "Sunday". Changing to a different date also makes no difference to the day. It stays as "Sunday". Distribution: Ubuntu 8.04 (hardy) Gnome Release: 2.22.1 2008-04-15 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.22.0
What is your locale? Could you please start evolution from a terminal using: LANG=C evolution and see if the problem persists? Thanks
Hi, My Locale is English (Singapore). I tried to start evolution from terminal, but the problem still persists. Thank you.
can you please try exactly what susana has described? also, what is the output of "locale"?
OK. I'm sorry. I'm a newbie. Please bear with me. I tried what susana asked me to do. This time, the day is not shown only the date. Output for locale: LANG=en_SG.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_TIME="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_COLLATE="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_PAPER="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_NAME="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_ADDRESS="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_TELEPHONE="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_MEASUREMENT="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_SG.UTF-8" LC_ALL= Hope this helps.
