Description Jani Alanko 2008-04-28 19:46:24 UTC
Changing the default zoom level from nautilus' preferences affects also to the desktop icons' size, which should probably have its own setting for it. Smaller icons are usable when browsing directories with lots of files, but on the desktop they are just a nuisance.

I agree with you, this doesn't sound right, and forces you to stretch every icon if you want to enlarge desktop icons only.
I am marking this as a duplicate of bug 148293 and modifying its summary, as that bug is the oldest request for this enhancement. Thanks for the report, please feel free to report any other bug you find!
