When using the new nautilus gvfs auto-mounting, together with the new libgphoto fs, clicking on a picture in the gphotofs view of a camera does not work, because eog does not understand gvfs yet. I guess sooner or later it will be ported, but is there a more general solution (like wrapping a  fuse fs around the gphoto fs and using that, so that legacy/command line applications can make use of it, too)?

We moved EOG over to GIO with the 2.23.1 release. Could you check if that improves the situation for you?

Hmm, I thought GIO/GVFS already does this automatically if the system supports FUSE.

That would most probably be bug 528670. We should adopt that patch, I guess.
