Description Marius M. M. 2008-04-27 13:53:48 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When starting Evolution with activated CalDav Plugin the whole Software seems to be waiting for the CalDav-Plugin to contact its server(s). If one of them is not reachable at the time, Evolution won't start up until the CalDav Plugins gets a timeout. At least this is what I've been watching.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Add a CalDav Source
2. Quit Evo
3. Make the Server disappear
4. Start Evolution

Actual results:
It takes a very looooooooong time until Evo popps up.

Expected results:
Evo to pop up quick and the CalDav Plugin to not block Evolution from starting.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

please don't file bugs as blockers by default. thanks.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2008-08-30 16:53:05 UTC
evolution-caldav is not worked on anymore.
Its functionality has been completely migrated to evolution itself, hence moving all open bugs to Evolution itself.
