Please describe the problem:
if you want to enter dates in the form 19xx for either of the date fields in the contact editor, date widget will tell you that the entry is invalid. For example, 10/12/1953 is invalid whereas 10/12/53 is interpreted as 2053. Therefore there is no way of entering this date without using mouse, which is a total torture until you reach year 1953 in the widget...

This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade.
