Description David F. Skoll 2008-04-25 01:55:05 UTC
The Gtk file chooser is very slow. It can take tens of seconds to browse into a large directory. By comparison, in (for example) Firefox 3.0b5, turning off the Gtk file browser and using the non-native Firefox file browser lets me browse into that same directory almost instantly.
