Description Jaron Omega 2008-04-18 19:16:14 UTC
Documentation
Section: http://library.gnome.org/devel/gtk/stable/ch02.html
The current Image, displays what looks like a multi-line textbox with either a header or labeled button at the top. The existing image does not reflect what a typical 'Tree' or columned 'List' looks like.

Correct version:
Though there are words that might aid in the message, being a gallery many people might prefer to rely on pattern matching of the general shapes, colors and designs within the image, rather than the words.

It would be more intuitive to have two images, one displaying a simple tree with expanders and connecting lines, and another displaying a multi-columned list with grids. Both may reference the same link to GtkTreeView.

Thanks for your report; for the record this is list-and-tree.png, which is also displayed in the GtkTreeView page: http://library.gnome.org/devel/gtk/stable/GtkTreeView.html

library.gnome.org takes its pages from individual modules, I am reassigning this bug to GTK+.
