"Page count starts from -1 on certain documents.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
 1) open the file located here http://ulisse.polito.it/matdid/1ing_eln_01EKL_TO_0/Matdid/SEesa202a1.pdf
 2) note that page count starts from -1 and ends at 6 (instead of 1-8 respectively)."
