Description ranyodh 2008-04-13 16:53:12 UTC
Hi,

Some albums do have songs from many artists (like movie songs). Also, some albums have one or two songs sung by a co-singer.

Banshee should support this by having another meta-data "Album Artists".
So, when Album Artists will be the name of main artists, and if any song of this album have more than one singer (co-singer), then both names will go into the Artists meta-tag. The Album Artists will still have the name of the main singer and grouped according to this tag.

This is same behavior as in Window Media Player.
