Description Nicola Ferralis 2008-04-13 09:00:48 UTC
One good feature in Mac OSX is the presence of an "eject" button besides the icon corresponding to an external drive. The drive is unmounted by pushing on it. In current gnome, to perform the same operation, you need to right click on the icon in the side pane and select "unmount". Adding a small button besides the icon would definitely improve usability.
