Please describe the problem:
under ubuntu 8.04 (April 1. till 9.) chesse doesn't recognize my webcam.
It worked perfectly under 7.10-386.

but gstreamer-properties and ekiga works under 8.04 with that webcam, too.
cheese --verbose shows no output.

"cheese -v" starts cheese and no output in the terminal.

it is not in the hardy repos.

2.22.1 arrived in Hardy and no change. My webcam works with ekiga and gstreamer-properties. But not with Cheese.
