Currently the photos and videos taken by cheese end up somewhere in .gnome2/cheese. IMHO it would be nice to not have them go into a dot folder but somewhere where users are more likely to fined them: either XDG_DOCUMENTS_DIR/ or XDG_PICTURES_DIR/XDG_VIDEOS_DIR? With option to set another folder (gconf only should be fine).
