Description Chris Eagan 2008-04-01 14:40:41 UTC
I am a huge fan of the feature in both OSX and Windows that lets the user drag a file or any other object, and then press ALT+TAB to switch windows, finally dropping the file on a different window. This is very useful when one window is full screen. I realize that hovering over the button on the task bar does the same thing, but it is slower in my opinion. Please consider adding this useful feature to GNOME.

I agree this would be a really useful feature, and it's been on the requested list for a long time, and someone really needs to figure out how to do it. I think it should be a priority for the next minor (rather than micro) release.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
