Description sledgeas 2008-03-27 14:59:44 UTC
Is it possible with gnome-terminal to preserve symlinks in prompt when opening new window?
e.g. I have symlink ~/foo -> /var/.../verylongaddress/.../bar
Let's say I do
`~ $ cd foo'
it becomes
`~/foo $ '
but when I press Ctrl+Alt+N it gets expanded into `/var/.../verylongaddress/.../bar $ '
:(

Not possible. See bug 502146 comment 0 issue "C".
