nautilus with globalmenu can display menu on the panel.

in this desktop menu, there's no emblems in "places" menu.

I don't fully understand this request. In my Places menu (using 2.22.0), the only things could make sense to have emblems on it, are the Boomarks. Do you want emblems on them too if there are emblems on the corresponding directory?
