Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2008-03-18 22:22:00 UTC
http://mystilleef.blogspot.com/2005/12/just-add-option-to-turn-it-off-or-on.html

I think it would be brilliant to apply the solution that he mentionned:
"When a user accidentally, or intentionally, presses the closing pair, do what the user expects. In our case, that simply is to move the cursor out of the bracket region. Voila!

[...] I added a behavior that allows users to move the cursor out of bracket pairs by simply pressing the escape key. This works for nested bracket too. In brief, Scribes bracket system is a lot better today, because I decided not add an option to toggle it."

Nothing new under the sun, but yes, this is definitely something that should be fixed in the bracket-completion plugin.
