This exist in kdm and slim, this would be appreciated in gdm too.
Description taken from slim manual: "If you put a username here you get it automatically loaded into the username field, and focus is placed on the password".

Some reasons:
* imho this is quite trivial to implement
* we use gdm for login in a University Library, and we think that DefaultUser is more comfortable than the current facebrowser-theme workaround
