GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 522793
[Win32] Printing mirror image
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:02:30 UTC
Gnucash 2.2.4 (built from r16997 on 2008-03-02) printed the mirror image of Accounts Summary Report using the Print item on the File menu. I am using an older OfficeJet T45xi All-In-One printer with W2K (Version 5 Service Pack 4 Build 2195 with the latest MS updates) connected via parallel port. In order to get around this bug I successfully created a PDF file to print. This bug repeated after a reboot and power on reset of the printer and with a different report other than the GnuCash Accounts Summary. The Print Preview function under the Print Report item shows the correct image of the page to be printed: ie, not the mirror image. If GnuCash uses the same printing routines as the Gnumeric software described below, then it may be the same bug. Best Regards, Carl Plescia cplescia@dslextreme.com +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #316531 +++ Distribution/Version: XP Home SP2 Gnumeric was printing a mirror image until I turned off advanced features on the printer (HP5550). Somehow Gnumeric was activating the double side printing feature of the printer and printing a reverse image. Turning off the advanced features has not affected any other program -- so far.
