Nautilus defaults to not show a "Are you sure you want to delete..." dialogs - which is good.
However, if you accidentally presses delete, perhaps focus were not where you expected, and a file disappears, you have no chance of knowing what you just did.
A nice solution to this would be a small yellow bar under the menubar with something like "File xyz has been sent to the Trash. [Undo]" where [Undo] is a button.
