GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 522167
Window isn't centered by default
Last modified: 2008-03-14 12:51:03 UTC
gThumb 2.10.6, Ubuntu Hardy 1. Start gThumb for the first time. What happens: The window appears at the top left of the screen. What should happen: The window appears centered on the screen.
Window positioning is controlled by the window manager, not gthumb. See bug 167050. - Mike *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 167050 ***
Bug 167050 is about saving window size and position. When gThumb is started for the first time, there is no previous size and position to save. Therefore, this is not a duplicate of bug 167050.
OK, but it is still up to the window manager to manage the windows. This isn't a gThumb issue. - Mike
There used to be a thumbnailing specification at http://jens.triq.net/thumbnail-spec/index.html, but it seems to have vanished...
Whoops, ignore the last comment - wrong bug report.
