Please describe the problem:
Whenever I'm trying to run the application on Windows Vista (64-bit) it freezes during search for data files, precisely when it tries to reach the fonts. The freeze last for at most 3-4 minnutes. During that time the GIMP loading programm does not respond completely. The awaiting time is much shorter when another GIMP instance is already running (about 30 seconds).

Steps to reproduce:
For me it is just a case to run application on Windows Vista. Happening every time.
