Sorry, it should "contact lists" and not "mailing lists" in the bug's subject.

The problem is that the rendering of the contact list item in the address book is really weird as can be seen in the attached screenshot:
The contact list in the picture contains 5 contacts - 2 hand written email addresses (d and e) and 3 standard contacts whose names are test1 through 3 and whose emails are a through c.

the &gt;/&lt; sequences look to me like a rendering of < and > in HTML, but it looks all wrong.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
